Unfortunately, our Build Your Own Hollow Wood Surfboard Workshops are delayed indefinitely due to Hawaii COVID restrictions. We look forward to resuming them as soon as health policies and local demand allows. Our workshops typically run for 5 days (Mon - Fri) and we work with you to build your very own surfboard to the exact design specifications and specific wood selections that are a perfect fit for you. By Friday afternoon, you'll have a beautiful hollow wood surfboard that you designed and built with your own two hands...with the help of a few tools, gallons of glue, and a metric boatload of clamps. Feel free to walk away with the beautiful creation and get it finished/glassed by your favorite shop, or we'd be happy to handle the glassing and polishing for you (typically takes 2 weeks) and ship the board to you or facilitate a local pick-up. Please be patient as COVID restrictions relax as we're attempting to work with local high schools to be able to provide the workshop as a "trades elective" to local high schools through the Department of Education. There's nothing more rewarding that hitting the local break on a beautiful board that you created...and even it you just want to build a "wall hanger," it'll be a great piece of art/conversation piece in your home to boast to friends and families about.
